You are going to engage in 3 acts of service toward other individuals this week, then write a short essay about it.  This assignment is worth 5 points. Good luck! learn by doing, and so for this assignment you will implement an interpersonal trait into your daily life by demonstrating it at least 3 times the week it is assigned, then you will write a short essay about your experiences. Each short essay should not be any longer than 1 page, describing how and when and to whom you demonstrated the trait toward.  This week you will practice service. Service is giving of your time, talents, or resources to better the life of another individual.  Those are the only instructions my teacher gave me. It’s due the 31st. Two Significant Relationships

Identify two significant relationships, listing the type of relationship (friend, significant relationship, family member, etc.). Choose one of the clips/images from week 4 and answer the following question(s) about the one you choose. Please state which one you are answering: Moira (Schitt’s Creek clip) 1a: What nonverbal cues does she give and how does that help you interpret or analyze the scene. What about listening? There is very little dialogue; yet, this is one of the most iconic and comedic scenes from this series. Why? Are there certain cues in this scene that align with comedy? How does Chronemics apply here? What about facial expressions? 1c: “V-J Day in Times Square” – is one of the most iconic photographs ever taken. This photo captures two people who just found out that World War II has ended. Although this isn’t a scene from a tv show or movie, one can still analyze the nonverbal cues.
