History and Evolution of Freudian Theory

Explaining how the psychoanalysis perspective fits as the founding movement in the history and systems of psychology helps the doctoral learner prepare for research into describing human behavior. Further, understanding the basic components of the ego and the philosophic influences of ego development allow for enhanced understanding of the learner’s self and those with whom the learner comes in contact including the human subjects of empirical research. In this assignment, you will explore the history of Freudian theory and create a partial outline of the larger paper you will write for submission in Topic 4. General Requirements: Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment: ·         Review Chapters 1 and 2 of the Ellman text. ·         This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. ·         Doctoral learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments. The APA Style Guide is located in the Student Success Center.  ·         This assignment requires that at least two additional scholarly research sources related to this topic, and at least one in-text citation from each source be included.  ·         Refer to Chapters 2-4 of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.) for specific guidelines related to doctoral level writing. These chapters contain essential information on manuscript structure and content, clear and concise writing, and academic grammar and usage. Directions: Using the information from Chapters 1 and 2 of the Ellman text as well as at least two additional scholarly sources, draft a sentence outline (an outline where subtopics and details are expressed as complete sentences) for the first part of the paper you will write later in the course. Use the following major headings in your outline: 1.     Freud: The First 10 Years 2.     Freud: Psycho-Sexual Development Add at least two subtopics to each of the major headings and at lease two details for each subtopic. Include a reference list as a separate section at the end of the outline.

Discussion Board post

*This is a discussion board post, see below for instruction. You don’t need to write it as a formal essay, just write is as a discussion post (reflection).* *You need to use AT LEAST 3 direct quotes from readings/films in each part (include the page#/time stamp), you don’t need to find any extra source, just use what I attached.* This week we will be discussing the first half (Part I and II) of Jay Z’s book Decoded. There are a few things I would like us to consider as we begin to explore this text. 1) What is the “hustler’s story” and why does Jay Z think it’s such an important hip hop narrative? How does this narrative compare with and draw upon other American mythologies, literary or otherwise? 2) What are your first impressions of the FORM of this book? Think about the photos, layout and overall composition. How does it reflect and/or support the story that Jay Z is trying to tell? Go beyond saying you like or don’t like the form of the book. Explain it as if you are talking to someone who has not seen the book. Bring the reader into your vision of the text. We all see things differently, and I’d like you to articulate your viewpoint. If you are reading an electronic version of the book (and it’s not the enhanced version), please either go to the library or a bookstore to see a physical copy of the text. If you do have the enhanced version, please give us your impressions of that form. Your experience with the text will be different from those who have a hard copy. Finally, please watch this interview Jay Z did with Charlie Rose at the Brooklyn Museum in 2010. You are free to incorporate your thoughts on the videos into any one of your posts and/or responses to one another.     Part 1: https://charlierose.com/videos/12884 Part 2: https://charlierose.com/videos/18505

Human Resource Management

Over the past 40 years, union membership has declined, and it continues to do so. Instead, many companies are turning to alternative dispute resolution. We know one of the best union avoidance tactics is good communication and providing job satisfaction for employees. Create a PowerPoint presentation (with speaker notes) that focuses on unions in the workplace. Address the following concepts in your presentation. Identify the factors that have contributed to the reduction in union membership. Be sure to include the rationale you use in your speaker notes. Evaluate whether or not the reduction in union membership is a good or bad thing for employees in the United States. Be sure to include the rationale you use in your speaker notes. Explain what alternative dispute resolution involves, and identify the pros and cons from the perspective of the employee and the pros and cons from the perspective of the employer. Remember, you want to include the bulk of your explanation in the speaker notes, not on the slide. Describe a situation where employees or managers would want to use some form of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation or arbitration as opposed to direct negotiation or litigation to resolve disputes. Be sure to include the rationale you use in your speaker notes. Explain how each of the seven determinants of job satisfaction (individual personality, the work itself, compensation, growth and upward mobility, coworkers, management, and communication) help to create the type of environment where employees experience job satisfaction. Remember, you want to include the bulk of your explanation in the speaker notes, not on the slide. Be sure to include an introduction and conclusion to your presentation. Include at least two images or graphics in your presentation. Your PowerPoint presentation must be at least eight slides in length, not counting the title or reference slides. Adhere to APA style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used.

Hist of West Civil Since 1648

I am reading Cultures of the West A History Volume 2 Since 1350 Third Edition by Clifford R Blackman. I am in Chapter 22.  I need a brief paragraph written for each question below. By brief,  I mean a paragraph or so, not a word, phrase, or sentence or two.  In other words, I do not need a 500-word essay per question, but I do need to have a complete, specific answer with details.  The idea is that I demonstrate the subject matter read.  No outside sources are necessary. Everything you need to answer the questions satisfactorily is in the digital textbook link provided below the questions.  There is no work cited.  That is all that is required. Here are the questions: Ch22 Assignment 1. What were the main trends that led to increasing secularization of European society in the 19th century? 2. What were Darwin’s theories, and why were they so controversial? 3. What developments happened in physics at the turn of the 20th century, and how did they impact the intellectual atmosphere of the time? 4. Describe the development of modernism in various artistic mediums. How is it affected by secularism? 5. How do the various religions of the Western world deal with the growing secularization of Europe? https://mbsdirect.vitalsource.com/#/user/signin username is [email protected] password: Kamfish642g!
