How COVID-19 Negatively Impacted Me

Its a memoir writting assignment. A memoir is about you and your own personal experiece. How did COVID-19 negatively impact you and yourself as a student. Its not a general summary.  Must have:  2 Hook/Moment 2 Structure Before 2 Structure After        3 Style/Tech 3 Format 3 Conversations. I need this essay rewitten in the correct way.               Due to the current situation, COVID-19 has massively affected business companies all over the world. One of the negative effects that I can include from COVID-19 is the massive loss of jobs. Employment has been reduced in practically all the main industrial parts. At the same time, millions of workers have had their wages cut, or have lost their jobs and salaries. The pandemic brought a challenging situation that has no parallel in the previous decline. It created a home finance division where people have been forced to work from home. Since industrial businesses were affected, it led to the disruption of the supply chain, which usually employs thousands of workers. Some companies decided to either reduce their workforce or lower paychecks. In whichever way, job losses continue to affect the economy further by lowering production output.           Part of the population has suffered a loss of income or lives under the threat of income loss.  On the same note, offices and banks remain closed in most cities. Even the idea of working from home, many employees can work from home cannot be easily affected because it is a home, work environment. Since people are supposed to maintain social distance, it implies that working closely as it used to be is no longer possible. That is why businesses and individuals in the entertainment area were compelled to shut down or modernize jobs. In a nutshell, COVID-19 has been a major significant foundation in low employment and following unemployment. Good methods need to be put in place to restore normality in the labor part.

Autobiographical Poem

Write an autobiographical poem of 10-20 lines. Note that this poem need not tell us everything about you; choose what you want to show us. (You need not tell us anything you do not wish to reveal either.) But you might tell us the places you have lived, the things you eat for breakfast, things you’ve lost, etc. For help/suggestions/inspiration, re-read the three autobiographical poems for this week (the ones by Chen, Ran, and Esteves.) Please DO NOT use the template floating around the internet that has a “formula” for an autobiographical poem. That is NOT what I am hoping to see you do here. (In other words do NOT do this: http://www.tnellen.com/cybereng/portrait.html) If you get stuck, try starting with a first line like one of the sample poems. You might start with the year you were born, as Ran does, or with an image of your birth, as Esteves does, or by comparing some aspect of your personality to something as Chen does (the speaker in that poem hopes to someday “be as fearless as a mango”)

The True Meaning of Motherhood

Read the excerpt from Helen Watterson Moody’s “The True Meaning of Motherhood” from the May 1899 issue of Ladies’ Home Journal on D2L. If it’s safe to assume that this article, published in the same time period as the novel is set, is representative of how many women felt at the end of the 19th century, what does it say about Edna in The Awakening? Which mother is more aligned with the ideals of motherhood that Moody writes about? What kind of mother is Edna Pontellier? What sort of mother is Adele Ratignolle?  Answer these questions in well-developed paragraphs and reply to your classmates’ posts as well. Refer to the Discussion Boards document under Read Me First for the criteria you should use to guide your responses.

The Heros Adventure

Watch Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth: “The Heros Adventure” and respond to the following: 1. How does Campbell explain the hero’s thousand faces? What is the hero’s deed? 2. Why is the hero’s journey so universal? In what way does everyone need to undertake this journey? What kinds of transformations of the hero take place as a result of this journey? 3. What do the three tests of the Buddha and the three tests of Jesus represent in terms of the hero’s journey? 4. What does Campbell have to say about the hero’s transformation of consciousness? What is that? How does it happen? 5. What points does Campbell make using Star Wars? What does the old stranger (here: Obiwan Kenobi) give the young hero-to-be (here: Luke Skywalker)? About technology? About Han Solo’s character? About the cantina scene? The garbage compacter? Darth Vader? At 26:43, Campbell says, “I don’t think [The Hero with a Thousand Faces] will help you to change the system, but it would help you to live within the system as a human being.” What does he mean? 6. Explain the following quotation from Campbell: “The achievement of the hero is one that he is ready for, and it is really a manifestation of his character. And it’s amusing the way in which the landscape and the conditions of the environment match the readiness of the hero. The adventure that he’s ready for is the one that he gets.” 7. What happens to Siegfried the dragonslayer once he slays the dragon? 8. What does Campbell illustrate using the story about the young native American woman and her snake husband? 9. What does the European dragon do and represent? What does it have to do with the ego? What kind of metaphorical dragons does he mention? 10. At 46:41, Campbell states “what myths are for.” How does he explain the meaning of myth here? What is myth for?
