The purpose of this assignment is to get a deeper understanding of the process of immigration, and the issues immigrants experience when settling in a new place.  For this assignment, you will interview a person who was born outside of the country and is now residing in the United States.  The interview may be conducted in person or by phone, but not by email.  Even if you yourself fit this description, you must interview another person.  You may not use your own experiences for this assignment. Before beginning the interview, write down the questions you intend on asking the subject.  Some issues to explore are: circumstances surrounding immigration barriers or problems encountered attitudes towards American society experiences with racism or discrimination issues of assimilation and/or pluralism During the interview, take notes and/or use a recorder so that you may refer to specific quotes later.  Be sure to get all of your questions answered.  You may come up with new questions as you talk – take note of any unplanned questions. After the interview, write a paper of approximately 3 pages summarizing your findings.Tell the subject’s immigration story and their experience in the United States, paying special attention to the degree to which s/he has assimilated into American society, and their feelings about doing so.In addition to the 3 pages, include a typed list of the questions you asked, making a notation to distinguish between which questions were planned and which were unplanned.  Also be sure to include the form from the Writing Center when you submit your assignment (if applicable).  Please upload it all as one Word or PDF document.

In week 2 we are discussing the importance of ethics in the human service field! Ethics is not only important to our clients, but also to ourselves in this field. You are welcome to discuss the case as a group, but each person must write their own response. Responses that are identical will not receive credit. 3. Please submit your write-up online to CANVAS prior to the class in which we discuss the case. 4. Please limit your write-up to one page, single-spaced, 11pt font. Based on your reading of the case, respond concisely to the following question(s): (a) Is it appropriate to think of all of Australia as a single geographic market for natural gas? If so, explain why. If not, how would you define the relevant geographic market(s)? (b) Based on your geographic market definition(s) above, would you expect the Santos / SAGASCO merger to increase market power? (c) Should regulators be concerned that Santos / SAGASCO would have a controlling share of the Moomba processing facility? Why or why not?

This section should include facts about the; disaster; when where and why, the impact of the disaster on nature & humankind, the main stakeholders involved in the relief operations, the number of relief funds spent…etc.  • I expect you to stress on stakeholders, risks, humanitarian space, and humanitarian principles and funds.  • I expect you to discuss the four phases of the disaster relief cycle and the main actions done at each stage. You will continue working on this section in more depth in the second phase of your project.  • Focus on the role of the INGO you selected in these stages, especially in the preparedness phase.
