Read the Case Study on Privacy Rights in the module. Answer the questions on “issues raised by this case “in the box on page 213 of the article (Case study attached). Here are the questions from the case study: 1. Should other health services be notified when patients present repeatedly for care (eg, patients with Munchausen syndrome) and, if so, how? 2. How should we deal with ethical concerns that may result from health service notification, such as inappropriate withholding of needed care for genuine medical problems in patients with somatoform disorders? 3. How should we deal with medicolegal concerns associated with notification, such as privacy, insurance, and stigmatisation? 4. How can we ensure balanced utilisation of services between individual patients and the public in general? I have attached these instructions with sample post from other students and the rubric. Read chapter 19 on Cengage.com “Violence and War.” The material in this section raise a lot of questions. In thinking about what you’ve read, one of the most obvious questions is: how does war differ from terrorism (if at all)? What is the distinction between the two? Is it really the case that “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter”? Why might someone agree or disagree? Are certain tactics always illegitimate? What would make a war a just war? Can war ever be waged morally, or is pacifism the only morally legitimate position we can hold? Can torture ever be used morally, or is it always wrong? If it is always wrong, does that mean there would never be situations where it is nevertheless forgivable?

David Hume was a very influential philosopher who lived from 1711-1776. His perspective on ethics was quite different from those whom we have studied so far: he did not believe that ethics was something we could discover using reason. For Hume, reason tells us facts about the world, and ethics describes our feelings toward something that happens. For example, if I say “murder is wrong,” I have not discovered a fact about the world like “the earth orbits the sun.” What I am expressing is an emotion about murder: a bad feeling about it. Hume writes: “Take any action allowed to be vicious; wilful murder, for instance. Examine it in all lights, and see if you can find that matter of fact, or real existence, which you call vice. In whichever way you take it, you find only certain passions, motives, volitions, and thoughts. There is no other matter of fact in the case. The vice entirely escapes you, as long as you consider the object. You can never find it, till you turn your reflection into your own breast, and find a sentiment of disapprobation, which arises in you, towards this action. Here is a matter of fact; but it is the object of feeling, not of reason. It lies in yourself, not in the object. So that when you pronounce any action or character to be vicious, you mean nothing, but that from the constitution of your nature you have a feeling or sentiment of blame from the contemplation of it.” (p. 158 in your textbook) If Hume is right, then the kind of analysis you’ve just been asked to do (using your reason to apply a theory to a particular moral situation) isn’t how morality works at all. While people like Kant and Bentham and Rawls thought that morality meant using our reason to analyze the situation, Hume didn’t think it played that role at all. Morality isn’t something we can find true answers about; it’s just an expression of how we feel. Think about the work you did for this module in the light of Hume’s critique of morality based on reason. Do you agree with Hume? Why or why not? Frame the RTBF discussion to answer: Preventing innocent people from being harmed. Protecting people whose personal identity evolves over time. Life-cycling or when data has reached it relevant usage timeframe, how is this processes facilitated to delete the data?

DEVELOPMENTAL ANALYSIS INSTRUCTIONS The purpose of this paper is for you to demonstrate your ability to apply a working knowledge of the theories, terminology, and concepts of human growth and development. Since this is a comprehensive paper, you will address your development across your lifespan. Finally, you will conclude your paper with addressing any current lifestyle behaviors that may influence your aging process. You will address these issues, how they will affect your aging process, and what you plan to do about it. Note: Your conclusion must offer suggestions for further study. The body of the paper must be 8–10 pages (excluding the title page, abstract, and reference page). This assignment must be completed adhering strictly to current APA format. You must include 8–10 peer-reviewed, relevant sources in your paper (at least 7 of the sources must be empirical articles). The sources must be less than 10 years old unless any of the citations are linked to an author whose work is seminal to your topic.
