The concept of “implicit bias” has been studied by Harvard psychologists since the 1990s. For this discussion assignment, go to this page https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/selectatest.html. Once you have completed the test, go to this page (Links to an external site.) to read about how the test works and what the researchers mean by implicit bias. In your discussion post, you should do three things: 1) Explain your results, being sure to show your understanding of the concept of implicit bias and how the test works. 2) Reflect on your results – what do they tell you about yourself? What do they tell you about the society in which you live? 3) Connect your results to a concept or idea explored in this module.
