Write a Page Explaining the Problem Below
Math problems often require many steps and involve using many rules that you have learned both here in this course and in your past encounters with math. Completing the Problem of the Week and detailing each step in words will enhance your understanding of the concepts and help me pinpoint any areas that you may need additional help. As you complete each step, write a sentence or two that explains what you did and which algebraic rules or principles you applied. Activity Instructions This week, you will graph a system of equations and find the solution. You may also apply additional methods of solving to check your solution. Graph the following system of equations on a sheet. Then, scan the hand-drawn copy. (Alternatively, you can take a photo of the graph with your phone and email the photo to yourself.) Next, explain your solution process. Upload the scan/photo and the solution for this activity. 4x + 3y = -1 3x = 3 – y
