Women in STEM Disciplines

There are some comments in the document shows where need to be modified. At the end of the article, there is a paragraph in bold, which is the revision direction of the whole article given by my professor. the topic question for this paper is: It is a fact that there are very few women compared to men in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) especially in higher status positions.What are the reasons for this disparity?  Is it possible to change this situation?  Why or why not?  (In your discussion, make sure to refer to at least two of the articles on gender covered in class.)
