You have reviewed the 1.5 hour documentary video (2007) The Smartest Guys in the Room, and the updated (2013) video The Untouchables. This assignment will help you to see how leadership and your focus on results inter-relate. The videos clearly describe results-based leadership deficiencies in two organizations: ·Enron and its ultimate demise.This was one of the biggest, wealthiest, and most influential energy companies in the world; and ·Freddie Macs mortgaging disaster and the resultant failure of the President of the United States to make the individuals responsible for this fiasco, accountable. Your review will have three elements: Part One focuses on how well the leadership/followership and accountability principles we discuss as part of the Transformational Servant Leader model, were followed Corporately and in Government.Please rate the leadership of each (a combined rating average for both is fine), according to each principle, on a scale of 1-5, with 5 rated as excellent and 1 as poor/non-existent. Provide specific evidence in support of your rating.If you do not see clear supportive evidence, indicate why you came to the conclusion you did. In Part Two, as indicated in the videos, assess the extent to which the systems involved (organizational, social, legal and political) had requirements in place to support a results-based leader.
