The Necessity of Good Leadership

Imagine a future Global Pandemic. Think in terms of what good, solid leadership might look like in this imagined pandemic. What should a leader do? How should a leader speak to his or her people? What comforting words might that leader offer to his or her people? These are the sorts of questions one should be asking. Clearly, there are more to be asked. Pick eight readings from this Gloria Fiero textbook and use them to create a series of one-page arguments drawn from Humanities readings that show the best from the past as far as leadership in a crisis may be considered. What can the general public learn from those examples?
