The Bourne Identity
You are going to watch the film that you chose from the list (located in the Collaborations tab) to analyze. Before you begin watching your movie, make sure that your movie is approved by the instructor via e-mail. The films were chosen for one reason; each film contains various psychological disorders. Provide some basic information about your film (e.g., title, year, director, cast, etc.). Briefly describe the films plot or basic storyline before delving into the body of the paper. Through watching the film and performing research you are going to answer the following questions: What psychological disorders were featured within the film?; What ways did the disorder effect the character and the persons around them?; How did the film treat the person(s) with the psychological disorder?; What are the symptoms of each disorder?; What are the ways in which the disorder can be treated?; What are your thoughts about these disorders after seeing the film and performing the research? You are going to need to watch the film (and for research purposes, it would probably be best to watch it more than once). Pay attention to details like dialogue, characteristics of the disorders, etc. Make notes because you will need to use examples from the film to justify the psychological disorders that you discovered within the movie. Remember, the film is your primary source, and the research is what you use to fulfill other requirements. Do not rely on memory to write the research paper. Watch the film! Requirements: The paper must be 5 pages in length (not including title page, abstract and reference page), double spaced and in 12pt Times New Roman font. Anything less than five (5) full pages in length will result in a 5-point loss to your grade. You must use three (3) secondary sources and one primary source (the film) in your analysis. Paper needs to be in APA format (include in-text citation), complete with headers, subheadings, title page, abstract and reference page. It also needs to be less than 30% matching other sources.
