This essay should be written in the form of a speech on behalf of the ambassador to the UN from Nigeria in 1994. This role is based on “The Needs of Others” reacting to the past game and should aim to highlight UNAMIR’s aim in Rwanda in April 1994 due to the mass genocide and lack of sovereignty that occurred. Although the Ambassador of Nigeria cannot financially support the proposal to reinforce UNAMIR or otherwise aid Rwanda being a poor country itself that lacks financial and military funds, this speech should speak in favour and respect for the protection of human rights and sovereignty for African citizens who had been oppressed. You are asking the UN to protect the rights of smaller countries, which implies a respect for sovereignty.  This essay should include three sources: “The Liberal Case For Humanitarian Intervention” by Fernando R. Teson, UN Charter, and “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide”.  Note: This speech should be written as if it is given by the ambassador to the UN from Nigeria in April 1994.
