Superstition

Discuss a belief or superstition that offers an explanation for events but cannot be objectively verified. Then, conduct research about your superstition, find out a possible origin of the superstition, and explain that origin to the class. (Don’t forget to cite your resources.)  Then, explain how we come to hold these beliefs and how they function in our communities. How do the workplace capabilities of tolerance and the ability to tolerate ambiguity come into play in the analysis of these ideas? Finally, describe how your understanding of inductive reasoning demonstrates why the belief or superstition you wrote about is unfounded.
