Summarizing and Paraphrasing The topic of your research report should be related to your program of study. In this assignment, you will summarize and evaluate one (1) source article from your research. The following sections should be presented in a one-page memo format: The topic I choose is Service Operations. ‘Memo’ style formatting  Details about source: title of article, author, date, publication, and short description of contents. Evaluation of source: brief discussion of the currency, relevancy, accuracy, authority, and purpose of the source. Summary: 1-2 paragraph summary of the main claims, arguments, and data presented in the source. Evaluation: 1 short paragraph evaluating the source (“I think this is a credible article…” or “The author is clearly an expert on the topic, and her argument is valid,” or “Unfortunately, the claims are not substantiated…” etc.)
