Student Advocacy and Sweatshop Labor: The Case of Russell Athletics: Using insights from the textbook chapters, prior courses, and my lecture, address the following questions: 1) Describe whether Russell Athletic is offshoring or outsourcing. 2) To what degree do Russell Athletics and other firms need to be concerned about labor practices in other countries? 3) Which ethical approach should Russell adopt? Why? 4) Do the managers of Russell Athletics have a different obligation to factory employees than the managers at H&M, Inditex and Walmart? Why or why not? Note that Questions 1 and 4 have objective ‘correct’ responses; Questions 2 and 3 can be considered more opinions that require substantiation.
