Please find below the instructions for completing your online module assignment: 1. Click this link: https://historyinpractice.ca/wordpress/medicine-and-power/the-doreen-befus-story/ 2. Read through the introduction to the Doreen Befus story. Midway through this page you will notice 3 links: Components: Self-Guided 1 Components: Self-Guided 2 Evaluate: Sterilization Timeline 3. Explore both of the “Components” links, listen to the audio clips and read the artifacts. 4. When you feel like you have explored the 2 component links thoroughly, click on the “Evaluate: Sterilization Timeline” activity. 5. Create a “Sterilization Timeline,” including information we have learned in class, the film you watched entitled Surviving Eugenics (via E-Class), information you have learned from reviewing documents/artifacts on the website, and listening to the audio clips in the 2 components sections. 6. Map annotations onto a timeline, adding the thoughts and responses of Befus, other victims/activists (i.e. Leilani Muir), law-makers and medical staff to important dates and events listed on the timeline. 7. You can take a creative approach to this timeline, or create a written Word/PDF document that charts important dates/people/events, etc. If you choose to take an artistic/creative approach, please submit images of your assignment to the Assignment folder
