[SOLVED] The Mark of a Criminal Record
The focus of these papers should be the particular reading (or podcast/documentary) that you are responding to. Your paper should include a summary of the key points of the piece, should critically assess it, should make connections to the other course materials (either the textbook or readings for that week and/or the textbook or readings from another week), and/or current events, and your opinion/thoughts on the reading(s), i.e. do you agree/disagree with the points made by the author(s) and why. As you will see in the rubric, points are allocated for each of these components. The response papers are formal writing assignments that must be prepared in accordance with the conventions of Standard Written English. Each paper should be between 4-5 pages long. Please do not write papers that are longer than five pages. All papers should be double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and written in size 12 font.
