Click on the report, read the report, and choose one health issue from the Selected Highlights section of the report to emphasize in your presentation. Then choose 3 pieces of data from the tables to display in 3 different types of graphs (e.g. You must display the data in 3 different types of graphs such as a line chart, a bar graph, and a pie chart) in your presentation. You should prepare a PowerPoint presentation that reviews important information from the source as described below. You should include an additional source to support the introduction and conclusion of your presentation. Narration of Presentation Students must include voice over narration or a written script for each slide in the presentation. The narration should be audio recorded through PowerPoint and the narration should expand the information that is on each slide. Students should not read from their slides for the narration. If preparing a written script, students should type the script into the slide notes section of the PowerPoint presentation. Scripts should be written as if you would read the narration to a live audience. Include the following in your presentation: Introduction to the health issue (Example: Introduce the issue of Pain for adults–you should use additional source here) Description of the Methods (Example: Discuss the survey that was used in the report) Participants, Materials, Procedures (if applicable) (what was studied) Data Limitations Discuss the major findings of the report for your health issue(Example: I might emphasize how pain differs among sex, age, and educational levels–this is found in the tables of the report). Choose 3 pieces of data from the health issue that is of interest to you.
