[SOLVED] Reinforcement Schedule
Students will create a reinforcement schedule for a case study student or a student they have encountered in the past. Remember, reinforcement schedules can be designed to increase a desired behavior while decreasing an inappropriate behavior. For example, if you would like to increase the a child’s ability to raise his hand instead of calling out answers, a teacher would reinforce with positive praise every time the child raises his hand. Reinforcing the desired behavior will decrease the likelihood of the inappropriate behavior occurring more often. For this assignment, first students will identify the desired behavior being addressed. Then, they will create a reinforcement schedule for the student. Finally, they will use their textbook and research to justify the use of the reinforcement schedule.
