[SOLVED] Posture Corrector Experimental Design
EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN FINAL INSTRUCTIONS (Based on my rough draft feedback, I need to: explain my age group, how i am going to screen for the preexisting conditions, consider neuromuscular issues as well, explain my 100 person group size, explain how i will recruit people (dedicated panels did not suffice), use ACSM guidelines, explain a good time frame to wear posture correctors with proof, and find a different way to measure posture based on past studies.) What you will need for the final copy, is a complete revised versionf your design including all of the variables below: oType of research design (cohort, randomized control, case study, etc.) oResearch questionoParticipants to be studied: age ranges, sex, initial conditions (e.g., healthy, special populations, children, etc.), number of subjects, where are you recruiting them from? oIf you say healthy participants then define what healthy means… oInclusion/exclusion criteria: how were they determined? oProcedures: Here you will list out every single step of your experiment. After reading this paper another researcher should be able to repeat your study exactly step-by-step. This is the most important part, so please add in as much info as possible. statistical Analyses: This section outlines the type of data you will be dealing with (nominal, ordinal, ratio) and how you plan to statistically carry out your experiment. oFor this portion, please do you best to find a way to statistically analyze your data. oThis section will not be as heavily weighted as the other portion of the final copy. I do not expect you to be an expert in statistical analyses, but try your best to find away. (HINT: I would look at what your references did in their stats section to get an idea of how to compare groups or variables pre- and post-interventions. ?The type should be single-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman. ?Please use proper citations where necessary and create a reference section using proper formatting
