ZOOM Describe and Organization Paper- The first “reaction” paper requires you to write a description of an organization of which you have been a member. Examples could include sports teams, church groups, places of employment, fraternities or sororities, etc. In addition to naming and describing the type of organization, you will also select 3 of the following topics to address in your paper: o purpose, vision, mission, valueso size, structure (flat or tall hierarchy, team design or other)o types of policies and ruleso types of leadership and managemento a description of how you perceive the organizational culture to beo types of interpersonal relationships existing within the organizationo recruiting and interview types and processeso types of interaction internal and external to the organizationAll papers should have a clear introduction of 3-5 sentences that introduces the topic and previews the paper (In this paper I will…). Following the introduction, you should write at least one paragraph per main point, or question asked in the assignment instructions (see rubrics below). The last paragraph needs to be a conclusion that summarizes the main points of the paper.Follow this guide when writing academic papers Tell us what you are going to tell us (introduction), tell us (body), then tell us what you just paragraphs are generally 5-7 sentences –introduction should include a thesis and a preview of the main points of the paper–conclusion should include a summary and concluding statement–transitional sentences should be included–identifying information should include: name, date, course, assignment, page numbers–be sure to include section headings and sub-heading to highlight the main points (questions)
