[SOLVED] Government Lies
I just need you guys to write my last paragraph, basically concluding the essay, summarizing what I wrotemy essay Is belowFor centuries now the people have been led to believe that the presidents/ government does no wrong. This although is false and has been proven time after time. The truth is that the government is full of lies. A lot of the information revealed about World War ll are lies. Its not only WWll that the government has lied about there’s hundreds of other things they keep hidden from us. Throughout this essay many things will be discussed and revealed about the real truth. The government doesn’t always tell us the full truth; they fail to bring up the parts that make them look bad. In the article Fukushima Stories and the Ghost Towns Left Behind Jaccard (2018) goes into details on a surprising trip she had to Japan. While on a tour in Japan she came across the city of Fukushima, the condition this city was in was horrific. This city has been destroyed since the nuclear bombings in World War ll, most of it is unsafe to live in. A mother from an evacuee organization says Prime Minister Abe says that the Fukushima situation is under control but that’s not true.. Our national government declared that they are going to bring down to zero the number of Fukushima evacuees by 2020.This means they are going to erase all existence of us.(Jaccard,2018) This is just sad to hear. People who were born and raised in this town, people who call this town their hometown are being stripped away from it. There will no longer be a Fukushima and these people will never get the chance to raise families in their hometown. Not only are the hearts of these families broken but they can’t even trust the word of their government.Theres many things the US didn’t tell the American population about World War ll. Something that most don’t know is that the US had actually supported hitler in more than one way. In an article called World War II and US Government Lies the author, David Dellinger, states For years the US government and major US corporations supported and armed Adolf Hitler which is hard to believe being that the US claimed to be anti-haloucost/ anti-hitler. (World War ll and US Government Lies, 1995,05). The truth behind WWll is that the US was doing what was in their best interest, their ultimate goal was just like any other capitalist society: money, power, and privilege. Many US companies like Ford, and ITT, built plants in Nazi Germany to pay pitiful salaries, exclude trade unions, and break environmental regulations. These same corporations were then given tons of money to destroy most of Germany. This is what the US government tells you that they helped destroy hitler. They fail to tell the US population that those same plants that helped destroy hitler were initially there to serve him. Aside from the lies and deceptions dealing with hitler the US failed the US people in other ways like refusing to warn Pearl Harbor of an impending Japanese invasion, the incarceration of Japanese-Americans into concentration camps, and the effort to make the US the postwar empire by releasing the atomic bombs even though Japan had already decided to surrender. The government has gone as far as keeping the fact that they caused the death of hundreds of kids a secret. The CMAJ (Canadian Medical Association Journal) released that Peter Hendersen at the time the Chief Medical Officer of the Department of the Interior was responsible for the health of Indegenious children in schools. The Deputy Superintendent General did not let him do his job and this caused the death of hundreds of children. Some children had already had tuberculosis which was a known cause of death at this school. Nothing was done and no treatment was given to those children who already had tuberculosis. This only led more and more children to catch this disease, which soon led all those kids to their death. This soon started to get out to the public and press. Hendersen, tried to be silenced, but could not be. Henderson went out of his way and made pamphlets which he sold trying to expose the truth. The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal found that the federal government’s willful and reckless discrimination meant that Canada must pay $40,000 to each victim of its discriminatory conduct. (whistleblower on residential schools,2020). This decision was made when the CHRT found out that around 2006 and 2017, the government wrongfully separated 40,000 to 80,000 First Nations children and denied access to public services. Prime minister, Justin Trudeau, did not like this decision made by the CHRT and announced he would appeal to the CHRT finding. His appeal to the ruling shows that government officials are willing to repeat this mistake. Once again not caring for anyone else but themselves.
