[SOLVED] Empirical Analysis
Length: A minimum of 10, but no more than15, double-spaced pages, excluding title page,abstract, reference page(s), and table(s), figure(s), and appendix (if any); follow the APA 6th Edition. Your paper must include the following items. Each item can be an independent section, or some items can be discussed together in the same section (e.g., lit review, theory(ies), & research questions; analysis & discussion; discussion & conclusion). APA title page with all required items. This includes proper running head and pagination (pagination throughout the paper). Author note is optional. Abstract (up to 100 words; on a separate line, also provide 35 keywords.) Introduction Thesis statement/research question(s) (i.e., what your research is trying to answer and achieve). Research question here is generally succinct. Concrete research question(s) will typically be placed after the lit review section. A background and/or literature review. This must contain at least 10 scholarly studies (articles or books other than the course readings) about your topic. Of course, you may use any course readings in addition to these external sources. You may also use non- scholarly sources in addition to the scholarly studies. See the next page for more information about literature review. Concrete research question(s) Method(s) Your own empirical analysis of the topic. This must involve some primary data. Primary data mostly refer to various forms of advertising. In addition, various documentation about advertising, such as corporate documents, newspaper articles, historical documents, etc. can be considered primary data. This, however, does not necessarily mean you cannot use sources other than primary data for this section. This section also aims to answer your research question. To do so, provide and analyze your findings in a thorough manner. Discussion Conclusion (can be combined with discussion) Your discussion and conclusion typically include summary, interpretations of your findings, implications, limitations of your research, further possibilities of your research, and so on. Complete APA reference list on a separate page(s). This must include all materials you used and analyzed, including the course readings if used. Table(s), figure(s), and appendix (as needed). You are not required to attach copies of the materials you used. However, actual ad(s) you analyzed, for example, can be helpful to include.
