[SOLVED] Drug Education Review
Students will write a drug education review that incorporates a personal reflection on their own drug education experience as well as the existing research on both effective and ineffective drug education programs. This assignment will consist of a one-page synopsis of the drug education students received throughout their lifetimes, including but not limited to formal drug education in the school system and/or informal drug education from family, peers, or other significant influences. Students will then be required to research one effective drug education program and one ineffective drug program. Drawing on this research, students will briefly summarize (1-2 pages) the key elements that make drug education programs effective and the elements that may make some education programs ineffective. Finally, drawing on personal experience and the research, students will offer 1-2 recommendations for the future of drug education in schools.
