Graphic design and HTML5/CSS3 Coding (60% of mark) (The redesigned website) 4. Usability testing Please work on part 1 and 2 only! & do NOT do the sitemap diagram section in the design document part The document uploaded is a full description of the project and has been uploaded with the purpose of understanding the project overall and knowing what is required in order to write the essay with a full understanding of what the project is about. I would also like to provide samples of other student’s work on this project (specifically the essay) in order for the writer to have a better understanding of what is required 1) Details of the merged documentation with table of contents: 1) The needs analysis one page (550-800 words) outlining the reasons for your choice of website 2) The design document must contain the following 5 sections in addition to the needs analysis: Purpose of site · Overview of the client (who they are and what they sell) · Project goals (overview of what you plan to develop) · Target audience of the website Sitemap diagram (NOT REQUIRED) · Show the main pages of the site · Show the relationship between pages · Show the structure of your main navigation Design concepts · Proposed logo design for the company · Description or illustration of site design and colour scheme · Diagrams (Photoshop) illustrating the content layout for 3 major pages Technical specifications · Software and technologies used to develop the site · Proposed organisation of site files and folders · Testing procedures to ensure that the site meets quality standards Contract · Summary of services you are providing to the client · Quoted price with a breakdown based on services provided · Final date of delivery Each of the five sections should be at least 1 page long. Each section will be marked based on quality, not quantity. You are encouraged to use diagrams where necessary to illustrate your ideas. Marks will be awarded based on the extent of research and the level of professionalism displayed in the document and accompanying material. All written parts of this assignment must be merged in a single PDF with a table of contents provided for ease of navigation.
