Attached is an article that is titled “18 False Advertising Scandals that Cost Some Brands Millions”. After reviewing the article for ideas, go out into the real world and identify a scam not listed in the article or already settled by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or other governmental regulating agencies.Write a brief double spaced Memo (additional research and citations are an expectation, at least one as assignment says it can not be in the article…) that identifies the scam and present your argument as to why it is such. Two great questions to ask are:How can we tell when a source or a knowledge claim is NOT to be trusted?How do we know when a source of knowledge claims is reliable?a 7-step process to follow – 1.) Critical thinking is based on two assumptions: first, that the quality of our thinking affects the quality of our lives, and second, that everyone can learn how to continually improve the quality of his or her thinking.The memo should be double spaced MLA syle and about 175 or so wordsTHEN when you are done with the memo- Read attached article “manufacturing next act” and write a short article review- When developing this type of report, there is an expectation that the review will have three paragraphs.The first is a quick summary of the whole article, the second is about an item or concept chosen for highlight, and the third explains why the item selected seems relevant to the criticle thinking memo you read/wrote questions answered. This should be a MLA style and each paparagraph needs a min of 5 sentences. around 100 words. The memo and article should be on the same page, but labled.
