[SOLVED] Cause and Effect Mode of Writing
Robert Frost wrote about difficult, unpopular decisions: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -/ I took the one less traveled by,/ And that has made all the difference.” This is a personal essay using the cause and effect mode of writing. What big decisions have you made that are generally contradictory to what most people would have chosen? For example, you chose to advance our career despite having a new-born baby. Or did you stay in a relationship and people asked what’s taking you so long to break free? Or did you marry outside your faith? Perhaps you save for the rainy day and your siblings think that you are miserly and tight-fisted. Or you (a lady) proposed to your boyfriend? Examine unpopular decisions you made and the present and future vindicated you.
