Organize your paper into the following sections: Case Analysis Paper Sections – The case analysis should be limited to 2 pages using single spacing (2 pages of analysis with citations and reference list included at the bottom half of the second page). WARNING: Students MUST use the CASE TEMPLATE (ALL Sections) to develop and complete their case study analysis assignment. If the student submits a case study analysis assignment that does not use the template (all sections) then that assignment will not be graded and will automatically earn a Zero with NO opportunity to re-do the assignment. Directions: Use the Attached Case Analysis Template attached to this Assignment. – USE THE TEMPLATE PROVIDED. The template is part of the grading rubric. 1. Discuss the issues in the case questions without writing the case questions into the case itself. and organize them into the paper sections (shown above) in the paper. These questions will help you identify and analyze all the issues/problems/questions in the case and thoroughly review the recommendations of solutions or implementation strategies related to the case. Part 1 Case Questions – DO NOT PASTE QUESTIONS IN YOUR CASE ANALYSIS!!!! 1. What is the usual leadership situation in the auto repair shop (consider the nature of the task, subordinates, and environment)? 2. Describe Alans typical leadership style and evaluate whether it is appropriate for the leadership situation. Part 2 Case Questions – DO NOT PASTE QUESTIONS IN YOUR ANALYSIS!!!!! 1. Describe Alans leadership style during the flood, and evaluate how appropriate it was for the leadership situation. 2. Identify effective behaviors by Alan after the flood subsided. 3. How should Alan behave toward his employees in the future? Case Study Approach: As you set up your paper into the sections listed above you will see that analyzing the case takes a critical thinking and problem solving approach that applies what you are learning in the course to this case situation. When you review the case questions part 1 you will see discussing the issues addressed in the questions (do not copy/paste questions into your paper) in terms of a brief overview of the company environment, stakeholders, and background of the problem, etc. Part 2 case questions helps you identify the problem that happened, the leadership issues, points you toward applying a solution and other leadership applications from the text readings. Again, when you discuss (do not copy/paste the questions into your paper). You are doing a deeper level of analysis and making applications to the concepts and strategies you are learning from the course and from your own work experience.
