Describe the word choice and the language used by Lewis Douglass in his letter I Hope To Fall With My Face to the Foe. What are the feelings and views that Douglass shares with the reader? In this letter Douglass described the battle, although he was still unaware of his regiments losses. How is this made evident? What is the theme in Men of Color, To Arms? Part B John Brown has been depicted as both a patriot and a terrorist. Which do you think is the best description of him and why? List the advantages and the disadvantages of both the North and the South during the Civil War. After examining your list, there emerges an obvious winner. Yet, why did the war last for 5 years?
