1) Why did the Articles of Confederation fail? What reasons might explain why someone would prefer the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution? What were the biggest benefits of the Constitution over the Articles of Confederation? The Lesson Writing Assignments are worth 40 points each. You need to include data from the chapter and related articles in your writing assignment and it is necessary to include citations for this information. You need a minimum of 2 sources and 1 must be your text book. The assignment is to be formatted according to the Modern Language Association (MLA) style which includes a works cited page but does NOT include a title page. For assistance with MLA style visit the Purdue Online Writing Lab. Do not use sub-heading or the first person on these papers. Use transition statements and write entirely in the third person. If offering an opinion do so in the third person backed up with data and a citation.
