Sociology of Families

Each student will write an essay on any one family issue/problem of interest. The write up will be sociological in nature. It will provide a context to the problem or issue and justify why it is worth writing about. Who does the issue/problem affect and in what ways? What sociological theory or theories best explain the issue/problem, how have other scholars explained the problem (literature review), what are your reflections on the issues/problem, and what solutions can you propose?   The paper should not be more than 3500 words (including references), APA style of referencing.
