Skills to Manage a Healthcare Facility Article

Describe the skills you will need to develop to manage the hospital of the future.    Although this article was written in 2009 it very much describes the impact of technology on almost every aspect of the delivery of health care services. In fact many of the points Michelle Andrews describes in the article are already taking place in hospitals.  Suggestion for writing your assignmemnt– make believe the reader has never read the article–what are the key points you would want the reader to know in order to understand the hospital of the future.  In addition,  managers, executives do not have time to read–so again what key points do you need to identify so that the reader very quickly has an understanding of the article. Grading will based on demonstrating that you understood the article using critical analysis; good organization, correct grammar, spelling and use of coherent sentences (read your paper out loud to make sure what you have written makes sense). Reference the article using examples even direct quotes to expand and substantiate your discussion.  However, always remember the rules regarding plagerism.
