Scope of Practice in Delegation

Follow the rubric to discuss the following topic(s). You do not need to provide a reference or citation for the lecturer/lecture material, or the case study in this assignment sheet.   Read the delegation case study scenario below, and use the NCSBN “National Guidelines for Nursing Delegation” to support your discussion of the following: ·      Discuss 3 ways in which proper delegation guidelines were violated. Include adequate detail for the reader to understand the importance of RN delegation guidelines for safe nursing practice. (at least 1 paragraph per violation)   ·      Highlight your own clinical judgment skills in contrasting how you would have properly handled one of the delegation guideline violations that you identified. Defend your reasoning with the resources for success documents given. This is not a personal opinion, or how you would be “nicer” to the staff, this is clinical judgment supported by the literature.
