Roles in Your Job
NOTE: Interviews are already done and in the interview pdf. I just need someone to type them all out. Instructions also attached in second pdf. Please produce a five-page report per interview. The cover page does not count towards the page count. Your interview essay should be written according to APA6 guidelines and include an abstract and cover-page with the assignment title, your name, date, university name, school name, course number, and professor. See figure 1 below. Your interview field exercise should be no less than five pages in length, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman, 12-point font. There is no penalty for writing more than five pages. Each section of your paper should be labeled with the corresponding question in bold. Describe the activities and roles in your job. How did you get into the HR or HRD field? What formal background or preparation did you have to prepare you for HRD practice? Describe a typical day in your job. What is the “good news” and bad news” about your job? What do you find most rewarding about your career in HRD? How does your job relate to other parts of the company (HRM students should hit this area particularly hard)? Describe the different program areas that you are involved with. How did you get your job? What advice would you give a college student interested in a career in HRD? Your interviewee must work in the HR or HRD field. -You are not required to provide a word for word account of you interview, but you must provide the question and a detailed summary of the professionals response. 40% Reflection -Provide a detailed reflection, directly after the abbreviated transcript, of what you have learned. Do not provide vague platitudes. 40% Written Composition -Your plan is well organized, well-written (including spelling, grammar, reasonable paragraph length, double-spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins), and within the five page per interview guideline. 10%
