[Get Solution] Reporting a Diagnosis
Open the attached document labeled Case Studies Set One” and follow the instructions as you work through and write out the differential diagnosis process for two different cases as part of your Case Studies Set One paper. Please make sure you do both cases. This document contains two case descriptions and instructions for reporting a diagnosis (or working diagnosis) for each case. Read the cases and provide the diagnostic information requested in the instructions. Please note: For this first paper you are not required to follow APA format, but you will be asked to do so in subsequent case study papers. For this first paper, you are not required to follow APA format, but you will be asked to do so in subsequent case study papers. Remember to include your name on the top of your paper. Include our course number and label your paper: Case Studies Set One. Although APA is not required for this paper, please use APA format for your in-text citations and your references at the end of your paper. Include an introduction that shares what you will be writing about in your paper and inform the reader of your differential diagnosis process (i.e. share with them the steps you will take to work through the case). Include a conclusion to your paper. For this section, feel free to summarize your main important points or reiterate what you did in your paper, and also share what you learned. Get detailed! Remember: The more details the better in this particular paper. Be very specific and detailed in your explanation of how you arrived at the diagnosis! Explain the specific diagnostic criteria and explain how the signs and symptoms match or don’t match. Do this for each diagnosis you are considering… and especially do this for your concluding, working, or final diagnosis. Submit your assignment using the link above. Your assignment should be attached via a word document. Please do not type your response directly into the text box. Use the attached rubric to help guide your work. See the instructor commentary and student examples for Pete in the 4.2 DB. They give you a vibe for what I am looking for in this assignment (and your future case study paper assignments). You will need to provide more than what is here in your case study papers in class, so please keep that in mind as you read through the examples and my commentary and work through the cases of Diego and Sue Ellen. Hint: You really only need to consider disorders covered so far, but should you want to draw upon other possibilities that is fine with me as well. If you have any questions or wonderments after reading through the instructions, please let me know. If you would like to consult about the cases, please email me and we can set up a time to talk about the cases in more depth. (30 Points)
