Remaking NYC post-Covid 19

Please propose changes New York City should make to recover from the Coronavirus. This is an academic paper. It CANNOT BE GENERIC or have filler words, so please think with economical, political, social, cultural, philosophical, and other such implications and identify an area of focus (for example: education, social justice, environment etc.) Please have at least 3 credible and academic sources of reference. Class Instructions: Your first assignment was focused on the possibilities you imagine for New York City post-Covid. Now in your final assignment we are asking you to make a proposal for what should be done. Work on what gives you energy and enthusiasm. You will create a proposal of what NYC, and you, SHOULD DO TO ADVANCE NEW DIRECTIONS, building on the realities and their implications for the future of New York. A few guidelines: This is a proposal for re-imagination and action, so please produce something that is designed to chart a new direction. Be clear about your theory of change; tell us why what you propose will lead to a direction that advances the city and is more equitable/sustainable. We are looking for synthesis and integration, so be sure to draw on and/or make 3-5 references. Some of you have specific international/comparative interests, so you may choose to add comparisons to another global post-covid city, though this is not required.
