Relations between Employers and Employees

Analyze an issue involving relations between capitalists (employers) and wage workers (employees). Discuss the ways the interests of the two groups relate to each other, as well as the power relations between the two. How do you see the interests of the two groups? As one of opposed or common interests? How do you see the power relations between them? As one of total domination or meaningful struggle? The issue can be historical or contemporary, related to the United States or some other society. Your paper, however, must focus on a specific, concrete case—not on general theoretical issues. You can use the assigned reading from the course, recommended readings, and appropriate outside sources.
