This assessment task relates to the following learning outcomes: LO1, LO4 Word limit: Most students write 1.5 pages (minimum) to address the learning outcomes. Instructions: For each of the THREE philosophical perspectives include the following: 1) Describe the philosophical perspective in your own words with references(Learning outcomes 1 &4). Cite references according to APA 7th edition e.g. articles and YouTubes from Online Material. (The first power point outlines each perspective: Search within the Learning Tasks button and Learning Resources button for further references; try to cite three references to show reading of material). 2) Describe some benefits / strengths of the perspective related to practice (e.g. Science has contributed to development of medicines, diagnostic tools etc). Discuss limitations of the perspective in relation to your practice. 3) Give a meaningful in-depth example (or examples) from your practice (or life experience if not in practice) to show connections with the perspective AND critical analysis. Critical analysis involves analysing the limitations, complexities and tensions within your example. You need to show your ‘thinking’ in relation to the perspective. 4) Discuss insights from your analysis and how you now understand a situation of practice in a new way. Presentation: Ensure you start a new post in the Discussion Forum and label as: Reflective Assignment for grading. You do not require a cover sheet. You may put your assignment through Turnitin prior to posting on the discussion forum to ensure there is no copying of material from nonreferenced sources. Reflective Assignments need to be your original writing and any sources from other persons/s are referenced appropriately.
