American is the most racially diverse democratic nation in the world. Race has been and remains inextricably in the laws shaping the public perception and response to crimes committed in society. The racially disproportionate in our criminal justice system is reflected particularly in communities of color. Racial and ethnic disparity has created mistrust of the criminal justice system and people working in the criminal justice system are aware of the problem. However, are laws created and enforced in the in the United States a reflection of implicit racial bias leading to racial disparity? Why or why not? Use supporting evidence to support your position.
