[Get Solution] PROJECT: PARADISE LOST

In John Milton’s book Paradise Lost, the author explores Satan’s rebellion against and from heaven and his vengeful deception of the newly created mankind. Throughout the story Milton expands on the evil thoughts and schemes of the devil himself along with his fallen angels or demons. What would it have been like to be Adam and Eve in the garden before and after they ate the forbidden fruit? What was Satan thinking that caused him to rebel? Why did God allow Satan to tempt His new creation? Paradise Lost explores these questions, and in this assignment, you will explore some of these questions yourself. Learning goals: Create an original journal entry as one of the characters in Milton’s Paradise Lost. Analyze one character’s emotions and actions. Consider how you would have felt in that character’s position. Vocabulary: Character study: an analysis in literature of a character’s traits, actions, emotions, etc. Assignment Directions: Choose one book from Milton’s Paradise Lost that is provided in the following lessons: “Paradise Lost: Book I” and “Paradise Lost: Book VII, Book XII.” Choose one character from the section of your choice. You may choose from the list below or select another character. Create a works cited page for the Scriptures you reference and the part(s) of Paradise Lost you reference. Here are some questions to help you think through your character.
