As a newly hired project coordinator at the human services agency “Smart Human Services Horizons” located in New York State, you were tasked with identifying an issue the agency can use for its expansion. This agency is a non-profit organization with a typical structure. Now that you have done extensive research on the selected issue, it is time to present your findings to the agency.  Your final paper should be 750 – 1000 words in length and it should be properly cited. For additional details on grading, please refer to the Course Syllabus which has a link to the Final Project Rubric which contains rubrics for Parts 1-4 of the Final Project and the Logs. The following areas should be included and addressed in your final paper: Clearly identify and state who is your audience – is it the agency’s staff, Board of Directors or the consumers? And why you selected them. Summarize the issue, background and the importance of it. Identify and list the top three operational priorities needing to be addressed from the perspective of the selected audience (e.g. staff, consumers or board of directors). For example, if your issue early childhood development, one of the priorities might be “creating safe learning environments to promote positive childhood outcomes”. Reflect upon what resources may be needed to achieve identified priorities (funds, legislative advocacy, etc).
