Bear in mind that, in general, audiences cannot read a lot of text while also listening to a speaker. Try to minimize text and break the text up with images or other media.  Try to avoid the common problem of reading the slides aloud to your audience. Try to have your visuals and your narration complement one another, rather than overlapping too much.
