[ORDER SOLUTION] On the Book Death of an Expertise
Your second shorter essay will be an analysis of The Death of Expertise and the strength of Nichols’ extended argument. Since Nichols covers several topics (expertise in education, in journalism, online, etc.), students are allowed to focus their analysis on just one of those chapters. Questions to Consider – (Not an outline!) What are the elements of Nichols’ argument? Where do you agree/disagree? Are there areas that could be enhanced by the addition/deletion of supporting materials and/or rhetorical strategies? What do other experts have to say on the topic? Requirements This will be an argumentative essay rather than a book/chapter summary, and it should include outside research to support or refute claims made. Three scholarly resources minimum. The sources that you use can address Nichols directly, or support one of your assertions regarding your assessment of Nichols’ argument. The word count remains at 1000 words minimum. As always, MLA formatting and documentation is required.
