Student will complete a mini-research paper on one of the topics included in the attached form. The paper may be submitted either by attaching it on the “Attach File” section of the assignment page or by cutting and pasting in the Assignment submission text box in the assignment page. These can both be accessed by clicking on the title “Extra Credit”. The assignment page is titled: Preview Upload Assignment. Your paper will be checked for plagiarism through Safe Assign. Papers that have greater than 30% copied text will receive a zero for the assignment. I have set it up so that you can check your paper before submitting it. The paper must have a minimum of 500 words (not including references or title). It must include a minimum of 2 professional journal article references (use APA style referencing) If you are not familiar with this referencing style please seek help at the writing center. Project will be worth 50 points: 30 points for content 10 points for correct referencing and minimum of 2 professional journal article references) 5 points for grammar/spelling 5 points for 500 minimum words (450-500 words= -2 pts; 400-450 words= -4 pts; <400 words= -5 pts.)
