North Korea Healthcare and nutrition

I’m doing a research essay on North Korea Healthcare and nutrition. I want you to follow the rules down below. I also want you to do use these sites for information only Sites Demick, B. (2010, July 16). North Korea’s healthcare is a horror, report says. Retrieved August 11, 2020, from https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2010-jul-16-la-fg-north-korea-health-20100716-story.html North Korea’s Dire Lack of Food and Health Care. (2010, July 15). Retrieved August 09, 2020, from https://www.amnestyusa.org/north-koreas-dire-lack-of-food-and-health-care/  Youtube. 2019. How Can Kim Jong-Un Feast While North Korea Starves?: [Accessed August 11, 2020].             I. Title A. Purpose – to tell your readers, in a compact form, your central idea or position; your reason for writing. B. Suggestion – take key words from your thesis statement or research question(s) to create your title.   II.  Introduction – One paragraph, consisting of . . . A.   Background Information – Just enough to help readers (or audience) follow you as you present your research on North Korea.  You will need imagination: imagine you are writing to someone (using formal, academic language) who knows very little about North Korea, someone who has never learned what you have in this course. Provide the details he or she will need to follow your information.  B.  Thesis Statement – One sentence, placed as the last of the introduction, that expresses a) your research question(s), your evidence for what you have learned, and your opinion. You will need . . . Organization – an idea of the order in which you will state each piece of evidence, or key point, in your body paragraphs. Consideration of how to condense this evidence (or key points) into a few words in one sentence for the thesis statement. [Thesis statement example: The North Korean government’s song bun system deliberately keeps the lower classes poor by denying them education, jobs, and opportunities to advance according to their abilities. ]    III.  Body Paragraphs – One or more paragraphs for each form of evidence (or key point) consisting of . . . A.  A Topic Sentence that tells your reader about your first key point; it should be the first key point mentioned in your thesis statement. Evidence for your first key point should come from your sources, if you are writing a research essay.  B.  Sentences about your research sources that all support just one key point. Do not attempt to discuss more than one key point per paragraph or you will confuse your readers. If you have more than one source to prove one key point, you may mention both sources in one paragraph or start a new paragraph to further explain this key point. C.  Avoid wordiness or padding when writing your paragraphs because this is always obvious to college professors. The word count is not to encourage padding but to encourage critical thinking and techniques for clear, expressive writing. D.  Instead of padding, try some of the strategies listed in The Bedford Handbook, pages 21 through 26. These include: illustrations, narration, description, process, comparison and contrast, analogy, cause and effect, classification and definition.   IV.  Conclusion – One paragraph consisting of . . . Evidence of your critical or analytical skill, best shown when you answer the “So what?” question. A.  You may have been taught to conclude by summarizing your key points. Do not do this for academic essays.  Instead, give your readers (and college professors) evidence that you have highly developed critical thinking skills. B.  What is the “So what?” of an essay? It is when, after presenting all of your key points and all of your evidence, you explain why what you have written is worth thinking about.   C.  Some of the ways to explain the “so what” of your essay: Explain why the situation is important for others to know about; Suggest ways to solve the problem or change the situation you have been writing about; Suggest what might happen if nothing is done to change the situation; Suggest what might happen if something is done to change the situation; Suggest steps the readers can follow to make this situation more widely recognized in the world.
