Instructions for research paper.You have to write one research paper for this class it should be 5-6 pages long 12 point font times new roman double spaced.You can write it in MLA, Chicago, or APA. The format needs to be correct and consistent throughout the paper. You will need a works cited page and proper citations throughout your paper.The paper must address a myth or ritual from a religion that is not your own. The possibilities are almost endless so pick something you are really interested in learning about. Think outside the box I do not want 20 papers about Catholic Mass.You need to research: -The origins of the ritual or myth-The purpose of the ritual or myth- The meaning of the myth (what is its function in the tradition, is it about creation, is it about behavior, and so on)-What other myths it is related to -What is the myth? Give me a sum up the story itself of who, where, when, why and so on-The process of the ritual (how, who, where, when, why)-Is the ritual still being performed? You need at least 3 academic sources, academic journals, books and so on (Not websites, encyclopedias, blogs and so on).You must write in an academic tone as it is an academic paper.
