Morality and Ethics

In the interest of conducting a lively, engaging discussion, please keep the following in mind: Opposing viewpoints are key to any vibrant discussion, but remember to use Internet etiquette and be respectful of your classmates’ views and opinions. Provide constructive feedback or ask clarifying questions if you do not understand a classmate’s comment. Most importantly, have fun interacting with the unit content, your classmates, and your instructor! Morality and Ethics Distinguish between morality and ethics, citing the sources you considered as you define each. Research an example of a law or precedent setting case law which was influenced by moral values or ethical standards. As you discuss and analyze this law or case law address whether this change in the law seemed to improve the moral climate or ethical standards of society.
