[Get Solution] Hypothetical Donor Profiles

Choose an  arts organization that you will use for research. Do not use an advocacy organization. Choose a performing arts center, visual art center, gallery or something similar. If you are unsure, please ask me to review your choice before you start. Write 3  donor profiles as a package detailing the purpose of donation, who the donor is, what their needs are and why their needs match your organization’s needs. Each donor will represent a different income source. Also, identify the type and amount of contributed income you are seeking from each donor. You may choose individuals, foundations, government programs or corporations. You are creating hypothetical donor profiles. To make this easier- imagine 3 very different people in your life, profile them!    Donor Profile Sample Outline Organize your paper in the format below.    Organization (name of organization or your name) Profile  Provide a brief description of the organization you chose. Include some of their key activities.  Donor Identification:  What is their donor stream? (individual, small business, foundation) What is their age? Sex? Marital Status? Do they have children? Where do they live? What is their income level? What are their hobbies, interests, beliefs? State anything that would be relevant to what the organization wants to know before asking for a gift.    Example: Lori is in her early 50’s, she is married with adult children of college age. It is believed that her household income is between $140,000-$180,000. She lives nearby and doesn’t work. She has free time for her hobbies and has a strong interest in crafting. She is very family oriented and often hosts family meals. (now do 2-3 more!!)   What is the purpose of donation? What are their needs are and why their needs match your organization’s needs. Each donor will represent a different income source.   Example: I will be asking Lori to support the orgs children’s art program. It is believed that she could make a gift between $100-$500.  Lori already has an interest in art, and because of her free time, can take classes at the art center. As a mom, she likely feels that art is important for children and families. Her strong family network also fosters her potential to support a community organization.
