Human Relationships
For your final, your task is to produce a Research Paper. Your Research Paper must include all of the following: At least 3 pages, but no more than 4 pages double spaced (Not including Resources Page with 12 inch font size, and 1 inch margins all around Must reference a total of 3 resources. Our course text may be one of the 3 required. The 2 additional sources of information besides your text may include books, movies, YouTube, Ted Talks, Journal articles, other books etc. Must follow either MLA or APA citing formats Must include a Resources page For your essay, you will select one of the following prompts: Prompt 1: Taking a personal inventory is usually a good first step in improving an area of one’s life. For this paper you will select a topic that we covered in this course that was of particular interest to you. Then, I want you to write about how this knowledge has helped you grow as an individual. There will be three parts to your essay: Part 1: Describe the topic and why it was of personal interest to you. Part 2: Use your research to expand upon the topic. Part 3: How has this knowledge helped you on a personal level. Prompt 2: Romantic relationships can be tough. And while they can at times be difficult, we grow and mature a great deal through these experiences. Some relationships are good, because they are healthy and make us feel good. Other relationships are toxic, and they can help us learn about what we don’t want in a partner. Some relationships are not simple enough to be classified as toxic or healthy. Writing about these is complex. This semester you have learned about your identity and the different intersections of details that make us who we are. You also learned about diversity, culture, healthy relationships, and effective communication strategies. There will be three parts to your essay: Part 1: Why did you choose this relationship, and what did it teach you about human relationships? Part 2: Use your research to expand on the focal point of this relationship. Part 3: What has this relationships helped you learn about yourself?
