Spend 1520 min walking around the campus/neighborhood/community with a notebook and writing utensil. Note that although the ADA was passed in 1990, there remain many problems with accessibility of public facilities for people with disabilities (consider any and all disabilities listed under the ADA bill) and especially during COVID. Look for as many examples of challenges that would be faced by people with particular disabilities. Try to experience it through a different lens than you normally do. In 500-750 words. Explain your findings. What examples are most glaring? Is there anything that needs to be acted upon? If so, what steps would they take to make that change? Why do so many of these challenges still exist a quarter-century after the ADA was made law?
